On RADIANT HEART
winter skies. Raindrops on my bicycle lock.

I’m riding into freedom
as if my head can reach above rain,
above clouds.

Sunlights pours onto my face
stretch eyelids uplift and grin
from the heart ventricles
from inside out
cracked open by grace
and the will
only to love

and to fly.

I’m an eagle soaring
on pedal pushes
and paper kites strung from sparkled spokes
into a thousand brilliant lights

I am a lioness
feeding on the feast of prayer:

I will rip teeth into the
soft flesh of love
with love. from love. of love

we rise.
